iSonea was founded through the merger of Karmelsonix of Israel and PulmoSonix of Australia. Through the merger, iSonea was able to use each company’s proprietary respiratory acoustic technology to offer solutions to previously unmet challenges of asthma monitoring and management.

The company was renamed iSonea Ltd. in August 2011.
